Como prometido y tras haberos presentado a KESSADA hace unos días, también le sometí a mi cuestionario musical, al que contestó entusiasmado, como todo lo que hace. Os recuerdo que este joven talentoso músico 1/2 francés 1/2 español, se está convirtiendo por méritos propios en unos de los músico emergentes en Francia. Antoine Jules Ulysse Quessada, también conocido como Tall Ulysse aka Kessada, es miembro de Le Quintette Saint Germain, donde toca la batería, percusión y coros.
Esta formación que cuenta también en sus filas con el gran Steve Nieve fiel escudero de Elvis Costello, Michael Gasche, Pierre- François Dufour y Renaud- Gabriel Pion, son la banda que han grabado junto a Elvis Costello su disco de 2020 “Hey Clockface” y que acompaña a Elvis en algunos conciertos como el que acaban de ofrecer en Paris este otoño. Compositor, cantante y multiinstrumentista, ha colaborado en las percusiones y en las voces en discos de Sting, Cali, Steve Nieve, Vanessa Paradis, Alain Chamfort, y de Elvis Costello.

A long time ago there was MTV. And before it became the monster it is today it showed really good music. Like “Earth Song”. So when I saw the incredible music video of it I rushed to my closest record store and had to buy it. This is how I discovered the wonderful world of the king of Pop.
Hace tiempo existía MTV. Y antes de convertirse en el monstruo que es hoy, mostraba muy buena música. Como “Earth Song”. Entonces, cuando vi su increíble video musical, corrí a mi tienda de discos más cercana y tuve que comprarlo. Así descubrí el maravilloso mundo del rey del Pop.

We live in a world that’s profoundly changing when it comes to how we consume music. So I have a lot of EPs to cheer me up! But an album that always got me moving and going crazy was “Iowa” by Slipknot. That album had me jumping in the subway.

Every day I make sure to go for a long walk and I must never forget my headphones. I listen to the majority of my music on those long walks.

Todos estos álbumes son absolutamente perfectos a su manera y me acompañaron en momentos difíciles de mi vida en diferentes edades y etapas. Si el mundo se estuviera acabando, me gustaría irme con estos.
