Un doble CD, que tal como podemos leer en BrianMay.com: “The album includes highlights such as The Who‘s closing medley, Ray Davies (Kinks) singing the classic “Waterloo Sunset,” Queen’s Freddie Mercury delighting with “Day-O”, Brian May & Roger Taylor + Jessie J on “We Will Rock You”, Ed Sheeran, Nick Mason, Mike Rutherford and others with Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”….. we all have our own iconic moments following the ceremony that are featured in this CD set …. John Lennon and David Bowie, as well as Beatles songs such as Russell Brand “I Am the Walrus” and the Urban Voices Collective performing “Because” and many more

David Arnold, the ceremony’s music director, says in a statement about the concept behind the event, “If there is a universal radio station that only tunes into British music and you close your eyes and dial through it and hear all these different things sparkling…and then you land on a certain moment, that’s kind of the idea of what we’re trying to do with this symphony.”
